Christmas is a time of celebration, rejoicing, and spending time with your loved ones. But while you’re busy buying gifts for other people, it’s almost important to remember to give back to your community.
On Saturday, December 9th, Puffco hosted their Hashy Holidays holiday party, which also doubled as a holiday toy drive. Partnering with the Astor Club LA, the newest cannabis consumption lounge in the city, this served as Puffco’s first event since the success of this year’s Puffcon.

The invite read: “Ever been to a holiday party that’s more lit than the most extravagant Christmas lights? Enjoy a hash-filled social event during the holiday season in a place where your cover fee makes a difference in a child’s life.”
Puffco's Hashy Holidays Toy Drive Donated To The Midnight Mission
In order to enter, guests had to bring an unwrapped book, toy, or clothing donations valued at $20 to enter. All donations went to The Midnight Mission, who have made it their mission to offers paths to self-sufficiency to those who are experiencing homelessness in Southern California.
Kevin Chapman, Events Director at Puffco, states he was most excited about “bringing the community together to give back to a good cause. From our hash-making friends to Jones Soda, everybody wants to contribute to what we're doing. It's a good feeling for the holidays.”
What Did Guests Experience At Puffco's Hashy Holidays Toy Drive?
Immediately upon walking in, attendees were welcomed to three stories of chill seshes, mainly with Puffco devices. Downstairs, guests were able to buy Puffco devices which honored their Black Friday deals. One in particular, the Onyx / Pearl, came with a matching hot knife and blue travel glass.
Products available for the day included items from Feeling Frosty, Fidel's and 710 Labs, all available at the flavor station. There were also gourmet cookies available from Lei’d Cookies, which have been present at Puffcon the last few years and recently opened a retail location nearby.
What's Next For Puffco Events?
“Obviously, Puffcon was a huge success,” Chapman states. “It's nice to take a step back and do things on a smaller scale. Partner up with our good friends, Astor Club, who are the premiere cannabis lounge in Los Angeles. It's a good fit, we've got good symmetry together.”
One thing about the power in cannabis is its ability to spread joy and love in any capacity.
Chapman adds, “Throwing numerous events a year, this one feels the best in a friendly, spirited way. Puffcon is the pinnacle where we get to bring 7000 people together for the plant, but this is really bringing people together for The Midnight Mission and for a good initiative.”
An estimated 450 items were donated.
